Youth Programs
Jobs South West is committed to advancing the needs and rights of children and young people in the South West through training, support, career development and recreation. Currently a range of innovative programs for young people are administered by Jobs South West. Programs are funded by both the State and Australian Governments.
In particular we work on a one to one basis with young people up to the age of 24 to provide them with counselling and family support through mentoring and family therapy.
Through the Employment Directions Network we undertake the School Leaver Program which offers assistance with career guidance, job search techniques, applying for jobs, addressing selection criteria, writing resumes, interview techniques and work experience. We also work closely with schools in the region and can customise accredited training for particular needs.
All staff at Jobs South West who work with young people are professional and highly qualified, all staff have successfully acquired a Working with Children Clearance.
