Casual Trainer & Assessor (Busselton Western Australia)Jobs South West Community Services is a not-for-profit, community based Registered Training Organisation (RTO) servicing the south west region of Western Australia. We deliver a range of community services, employment services and nationally accredited training programs in a variety of modes including on-the-job, web based, adult education, short courses and auspicing.
As an RTO Job South West Community Services has a diverse scope which reflects the needs of the people to whom we provide services. Our client base is diverse and primarily includes persons who are CaLD, Indigenous, youth at risk, mature aged job seekers, women returning to formal employment, and persons with disabilities. Training programs include innovative specialised youth initiatives; formal traineeships for youth and adults; full and partial qualifications in a range of disciplines and specialised short courses. Our efforts are currently being recognised with nomination as finalists in both the Adult Learners’ Week Awards and the State Training Awards. We are a family friendly work place and offer excellent remuneration.
We require an experienced Casual Trainer to deliver accredited training and assessment in both formal learning environments and on-the-job in the following qualifications or skill sets thereof:
Certificate I Work Preparation,
Certificate I Leadership,
Certificate I Business &
Certificate I Retail
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the relevant vocational competencies
- Experience working with youth at risk
- Experience delivering VET qualifications or teaching
- Excellent administration and reporting skills
- Experience in the design of training and assessment resources
- Current ‘C’ class drivers license
- Current Police clearance and Working with Children Card
